Courtyards and Desert Plantings
Front courtyards and low walls create sheltered corners that spiders love. Rock ground cover and desert plants give bark scorpions plenty of daytime hiding places.
Once the sun goes down, scorpions start moving. They climb walls easily and can squeeze through gaps about as thin as a credit card.
Spiders and scorpions also share space with crickets, which are drawn to the soft glow of patio and courtyard lights at night.
Termites are worth watching for too. Mud tubes along a garage stem wall or courtyard wall are often the first sign.
What to Expect From Your Technician
Your technician will walk your property, treat walls and entry points, and sweep webs from eaves and light fixtures. Because they are paid by the day, they have time to talk with you about anything you have seen.
We also offer a Black Light Scorpion Service for homes that want an extra layer of protection.
Our products are eco-friendly and safe for kids and pets once applied, which matters to residents who have grandkids visiting or pets of their own.
If you prefer, we can schedule visits for times when you are home and happy to walk the yard together.
- Courtyard and patio treatment
- Garage and door sweep checks
- Optional black light scorpion service
Easy Steps for Fewer Scorpions
Shake out shoes and gardening gloves before using them, and keep bedding and bed skirts off the floor. These simple habits help you avoid surprise encounters.
Check that weather stripping on doors to the garage and patio is in good shape. Gaps there are some of the most common scorpion entry points we find.
If you notice activity, call 480-999-5302. Most visits happen the same day or the next, and we will walk through what we see with you.

Can a scorpion really fit under my door?
Yes. Bark scorpions are thin and flexible. Good door sweeps, weather stripping, and regular perimeter treatment work together to keep them out. Many homeowners also add weather stripping to garage entry doors.
Is your service safe for my small dog?
It is. Our products are pet friendly and safe once applied, and we will let you know how long to wait before your dog goes outside.
Do you offer service on a regular schedule?
Yes. Bi-monthly full service starts starting at $45 per month for homes up to 2,500 square feet, and re-treatments between visits are free.
