One Community, Many Pest Conditions
A home on an interior street surrounded by neighbors faces different challenges than one on the edge of the community overlooking desert. Edge lots often see more scorpions, rodents, and crickets moving in from natural ground.
Interior homes are not immune. Block walls, rock landscaping, and irrigated yards run from one property to the next, giving pests easy routes across the neighborhood.
That is why we start every new Vistancia account with an inspection. Your technician walks the property, notes what is active, and focuses treatment where it will matter most.
Monsoon season adds another layer. Storms flood desert burrows and send crickets, cockroaches, and scorpions looking for drier ground, and the nearest homes are the obvious choice. A spike in sightings during late summer is common here and nothing to panic about.
The Pests We Treat Most Here
Bark scorpions are the top concern for most families. They hide in block walls, under landscape rock, and in garages, and they can slip through very small gaps.
Subterranean termites are another quiet threat in the Valley. Even newer homes can be at risk, so regular inspection is a smart habit. Ants round out the list, especially around irrigation and pool decks.
Spiders also deserve a mention. Black widows tuck into garage corners and the gaps along block walls, while other species string webs across eaves and lights where insects gather after dark.
