Washes Work Like Highways
Dry riverbeds and drainage channels may look empty most of the year, but they are full of life. Rodents, scorpions, and other animals use the cover of brush and rock to travel through neighborhoods.
Homes that back onto these areas tend to see more visitors, especially after monsoon storms flood burrows and push animals toward higher ground.
We pay close attention to the side of the house that faces a wash, along with gates and wall gaps that open toward it.
Wash side properties also tend to collect debris after storms. Branches, leaves, and soil washed against walls create damp hiding spots that attract crickets, cockroaches, and the scorpions that hunt them.
Rodent and Wildlife Help
If rodents are nesting in your garage, under a shed, or in landscaping, our rodent service addresses the activity and helps prevent repeat problems. When larger animals are digging or denning near the house, our wildlife service steps in.
We focus on moving animals away from where your family lives and reducing the attractions that drew them in.
Keeping trash secured, storing pet food indoors, and closing gaps under sheds and decks all make a big difference. Your technician will point out anything on your property that might be drawing animals in.
Some homeowners first notice a problem when they find chewed irrigation lines or nesting debris behind stored items. Others hear scratching in walls or attics at night. Any of these signs is worth a call.
Scorpion Protection Year Round
The same washes that shelter rodents shelter scorpions. Regular perimeter service reduces their numbers near the house, and our Black Light Scorpion Service finds and removes them at night.
For a home up to 2,500 square feet, regular bi-monthly protection begins starting at $45 a month.
Since nobody on our team earns more by squeezing in extra stops, your technician can cover the full property, wash facing side included, at a steady pace.
