Water Features and Desert Edges
Lakes, ponds, fountains, and pools add beauty to a yard, but in the desert they also become a gathering place for insects. Mosquitoes breed in still water and rest in shady plants nearby. Crickets and beetles thrive in the damp soil and turf around water.
Those insects bring scorpions and spiders, which hunt along walls, patios, and docks or decks near the water.
Homes on the desert side face the opposite challenge. Scorpions and other desert pests move in from natural habitat when it gets hot and dry.
Arrowhead Ranch Pest Control for Waterfront and Desert Homes
We tailor treatment to where your home sits. Near water, we focus on shady resting spots for mosquitoes, damp edges where crickets hide, and patio and deck areas where scorpions hunt. On the desert side, we focus on block walls, gates, rock beds, and garage seals.
Our Black Light Scorpion Service is a strong option for homes with heavy scorpion activity. After dark, scorpions glow under UV light, so we can find and remove them directly.
Larger homes have more ground to cover, and our technicians are paid by the day, so they take the time to cover all of it.
- Mosquito resting area treatment
- Cricket control near turf and water
- Scorpion prevention and black light service
- Block wall and garage treatment
