Homes perched on slopes often have complex rooflines, deep overhangs, and large covered patios designed to frame the scenery. Those same features can give roof rats and other rodents protected routes into attics and soffits.
During each visit we check roof edges, vents, and utility penetrations for gaps, and we look for droppings or rub marks near the garage and storage spaces. Catching a rodent problem early is far easier than cleaning up after one.
Signs of a problem can be subtle at first. Scratching sounds in the ceiling at night, chewed fruit from a nearby tree, or a strong musty smell in the garage are all worth mentioning to your technician.

Outdoor living spaces with ceiling fans, misters, and beams are prime spots for paper wasps to build nests. Bees may also look for water near pools and fountains on hot afternoons.
